The other day I got a call from a lost sheep. This young man grew up in our youth group. He was in lock down for his drinking and drug use. He did not have anyone to talk to so he called the church and asked for a pastor. When I went to see him he thanked me for coming saying, “it was good to see a friend.� Even though I don’t think he is done running from God, I let him know that God was still waiting at the door for him. The good thing is he still knows the way and knows that God is still there.
