The story of the young boy in Day 11 struck me. The boy age seven lost one goat and his father was mad and told him, “Go back out and don’t come home without it!� Although the goat came back on its own that night, the father did not even bother to call the son who was still out in the mountain looking for the goat. My reaction to this is WHAT! I cannot believe a father can do that to a seven year old, his very own son. Right away I have a quick conclusion that this father is not a Christian. But it is good to know about the life and culture of people in the other part of the world. This is not an isolated case since I have been hearing and reading news from different part of the world like regarding human or child abuse. I grew up from a nonbeliever environment and have seen and heard almost similar scenario. This reminding me again to remember them in prayer and intercede for them.
