Protection

Post by marcushill07@gmail.com »

I never knew how defenseless sheep’s are. They can’t defend themselves without teeth, claws and good eyes. Their eyesight is limited to mere yards. It reminds me of what David said, “Thought I walk through the valley of the shadows of death, I shall fear no evil. The Divine Shepherd gives us instructions on how to transform our lives for him. It’s the good news that must be preached and taught to other sheep. It’s the protection that God sees more than I can. As a student pastor, I must be live out the nurturing and compassion the Divine Shepherd has shown me by the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Jesus grows flawed and faithless common people like myself into mature shepherds. My pastoral skills of protecting my students will be best utilized in how I model leadership as a shepherd.
