The pastors in this time should keep in mind the author’s opinion about the right attitude of mediator. If one speaks for one side, the person is obviously the lawyer, not the mediator. The mediators between God and human being should not only be angry for God, but also defend sinners from God’s accusation like Moses. How Moses tied his destiny to Israel’s destiny is how Judah tied his destiny to Benjamin’s destiny. What Judah’s leadership was acknowledged by his family members in Genesis may be associated with this context. For a long time, many pastors have stood on the side of God for their visible authority. At now, they, including me, should find the balance between God and human being for their right ministry.
